Meet The Owners
Hi there! We’re Raquel and Mike, the husband and wife duo behind the name ‘Sippers & Shakers’. Hospitality brought us together when we met at the same job in 2016, and we have been working side by side ever since. It was clear from the start that bartending was more than just a hustle for us. After 18 years each in the industry and a lot of nights slinging drinks behind the bar, we knew we had more to offer our community. In 2025, Sippers & Shakers was born!
The anatomy of a party fascinates us. We are inspired by the ebbs and flows of energy amongst a celebration of friends and family. To put it simply… we love this stuff. Our company truly represents what inspires us and makes us happy. Bringing people together and creating connection through fun drinks, top-notch service, and warm smiles is how we ensure a seamless experience at every event we attend. We provide Dry-Hire Bartending Services!
…what does that even mean?
The term “dry-hire” simply means our client (you) will provide the alcohol for the event, and we bring the rest. California law prohibits mobile bars from the purchase or transport of any alcoholic products without a liquor license. However, we will provide you with a detailed shopping list that will make this part of the process a breeze!

You retain more control over costs by ultimately deciding where to shop, what to purchase, and quantities.
Our services are cheaper! Without the markup on alcohol that typically comes with using a full bar service, we can keep our prices lower saving you money!
Your drink menu becomes more customizable to your liking depending on your preferred choices of beer, wine, spirits, etc.
You keep what’s leftover! That’s right, you own it; so whatever doesn’t get consumed stays with you when your event ends. Not a bad deal, right? ;)
